MEET THE TEAM

PRESIDENT

Charlotte Dowdell has been a certified prosthesis fitter for well over 25 years. She actually started her career at Nordstrom, back in 1989, when she became a mastectomy fitter. After extensive training and gaining notable experience; Charlotte became an expert fitter and was asked to serve as the Regional Prosthesis Coordinator for the Tri-State area. 

Thoughout her career, Charlotte has fitted hundreds of women with the necessary prosthesis breast froms and mastecomy bras.  She has also trained and certified many masectomy fitters.   Since starting the non-profit Charlotte has worked with national health fairs, organized fashion shows,  hosted luncheons, and a plethora of events.  Charlotte has and is always helping women to understand that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  And Charlotte's Breast Cancer Survivors is here to help you find that light. 

VICE PRESIDENT

Maia  Eagle is the owner of Hair and Body  LLC, a business she started back in 2013.   With an extensive background in the medical field and a passion for Cosmetology, Maia has always had a desire to help others  feel better about themselves.  So naturally when the opportunity presented itself to be apart of a non-profit, there was no way she could pass it up.  

Since coming on board, Maia has  used her company to provide hair issue solutions that may arise from having cancer and/ or chemotherapy,  free of charge, to  Charlotte's Breast Cancer Survivors. This may come in the form of a wig, hair extensions, or a non-invasive hair transplant.  But whatever the  hair issue, there is a solution.  Maia is extemely proud to be able to work with one of the best women in the industry,  And is elated by the notion of being able to give back to the community!

. TREASURER

Gina, a native of South America, has lived in the USA for over 18 years. 

The last twelve of those years she has spent volunteering for Make a Wish Foundation, amongst other non-profits.  Gina has a professional background in  the world of technology and has achieved many accolates for her professional achievements. 

In Gina's spare time,  she enjoys practicing yoga and deep meditation. She is  also  very in tune  with universal energies and loves to  study alterative medicines.  Gina is a Reiki therapist and believes in the healing power of the  touch. To say Gina enjoys working with the mind,  the body, and the spirit would be an understatement.  Gina is truly someone who understands the mind body connection. 

EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

Tabatha, born to an American Father, has lived in the US for over 20 years. She is a native of Portugal, and a  proud mother and wife.

Tabatha has held various management leadership roles for  the last couple of decades; and in one of those roles she had the privilege to meet Charlotte.

Tabatha's life has been touched several times by cancer, and the physical and emotional scars that comes with it. After getting to know Charlotte and her organization, Tabatha was able to see the many good deeds that her organization has done to assist in the healing process of these brave survivors of breast cancer. They truly awakened her belief in good deeds and  she wants everyone to know that even in small strides great acheivements can be made.
